Triad SQL Server User Group

The Triad SQL Server Users Group (TSSUG); is a forum where Microsoft SQL Server database administrators and developers meet to learn more about the product, share ideas and make contact with other similar individuals. Our group is run by SQL Server professionals for the benefit of anyone interested in participating in the group.
All of our meetings are free and open to anyone who is interested in sharing their knowledge of SQL Server. Our meetings are generally held on the last Tuesday of every other month, unless otherwise noted. Food is no longer being provided, however you are welcome to bring in your own.

Speaker: Babu Dukkipati, Senior Database Analyst American Express

Summary: SSIS in SQL 2005 will be explained and presented with sample SSIS packages; SSIS tasks and data file feeds. The presentation will include main and sub-packages of SSIS, table driven runtime configurations, a single package handling multiple files and formats, dynamically handling variables, passing variables from main to the sub-packages, debugging configuration files and deployment of packages. If time permits, SSIS and OLAP also will be discussed.

About Babu: Babu Dukkipati has been working in IT for over 23 years. His primary expertise includes database design, development, implementation and web development using .NET technologies. He worked as an independent consultant providing services to both Canadian private and public corporations. He is currently working for American Express in Greesboro as a Senior Database Analyst. He has been an active member in both Triad SQL Server User Group and .NET User Groups.
